At Able Personnel, we’re looking for a Senior Administrator for our client, who’s ready to take ownership, lead from the front, and make a real difference in an academic environment. Based in Gloucester (GL14), this is an office-based role with free parking and a starting salary of up to £30,000.
You’ll be the heartbeat of administrative operations, keeping everything organised, compliant, and running seamlessly. From mentoring junior staff to supporting students and senior management, every day will bring opportunities to improve processes, build relationships, and make a tangible impact.
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:
* Manage daily administrative operations and student services
* Provide scheduling, reporting, and correspondence support to academic staff
* Coordinate student registration and maintain accurate records
* Prepare timetables, course documents, and assessment data
* Mentor junior administrative staff and encourage their development
* Liaise with students, faculty, and external contacts
* Produce reports, presentations, and committee communications
* Maintain databases, filing systems, and compliance records
* Contribute to policy implementation and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in an administrative role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Quick learner with new systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
