At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their expanding team based in Northwich and Crewe. This role is home based with travel to 3 sites, offering the chance to provide personalised support to learners while creating an inclusive, positive learning environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with tutors to provide individualised support to learners, primarily on a 1-1 basis
  • Assist learners in accessing the curriculum, engaging in classroom activities, and achieving learning goals
  • Support learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring educational, physical, and emotional needs are met
  • Collaborate with tutors and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Encourage learner independence by promoting self-confidence, self-regulation, and responsibility for learning
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, engagement, and any issues, reporting observations in a timely manner
