At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of an established education provider for a dedicated Joinery Tutor/Teacher to join their team, supporting adult learners.

This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, delivering high quality joinery education to learners in a secure setting. You will play a vital role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence, and employability.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver engaging joinery training to adult learners
  • Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned to qualification standards
  • Support learners to achieve vocational qualifications
  • Create positive and motivating learning environments
  • Maintain accurate learner records and reports
  • Embed health and safety, safeguarding, and quality standards

What we are looking for:

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
  • Level 1 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery
  • Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry
  • Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners
  • Strong organisation and communication skills

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary £30,208 to £39,648 per annum
