Health & Social Care Tutor or Assessor

Permanent role

We are seeking 2 experienced Health & Social Care Assessors or Tutors

Home based role and then some travel to teach when needed in Birmingham and the Black Country

The role is mixture of tutoring in the classroom for learners for the ambulance service for level 2 healthcare support and the rest assessing online and one to one visiting learners in the workplace for level 3 mainly in health and social care, some level 4 and 5 for adult health and social care.

Duties

* Managing a caseload of learners

* Ensure each learner achieves their expected end date – apprentices.

* Assessing the learners for health & social care level 3, some level 5.

* Monitor progress of learners.

* Update electronic records following each visit.

* Dealing with update meetings online

* Delivering training

Experience essential for this role.

* Must have assessing experience of assessing or tutoring in health & social care to level 3 and ideally level 4 and 5.

* Must be assessor or teacher qualified.

* Must be a car owner/driver.

* Must be able to travel to Birmingham and the Black country.

Salary/hours:

Β£24,000 to Β£28,000 per annum

Working Monday to Thursday 8.45am – 5pm and Friday 8.45am – 4pm. 45 minutes lunch break each day.

* After 1 years’ service an additional 1 day given for time off on your birthday, an extra day is accrued each year for the next 4 years to a total of 30 days holiday.
