This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas, Water or Drainage Networks professional to use their industry knowledge to support apprentices, learners, and managers in developing their skills and achieving industry recognised qualifications.

You will deliver either Gas, Water or Drainage Networks Utility, Street works, Construction sector training, and assessment in the academy.

The role will involve delivering training and assessment from the skills academy, head office and client locations across the UK and Ireland.

Travel to client sites will form part of the role, with the expectation to work away from home for up to 25 percent of the time.

What you will be doing

  • Organise, plan, and deliver high-quality VQ and NVQ qualifications, technical skills training, and assessments
  • Deliver Gas, Water or Drainage Networks training, or Street Works and Construction Sector training and assessment
  • Support apprentices, learners, and managers to develop their technical skills, knowledge, and competence
  • Deliver standardised training programmes to a consistently high standard
  • Assess learner competence and provide appropriate support and feedback
  • Maintain and review training materials to ensure they remain current, relevant, and aligned with required standards and legislation
  • Ensure training and assessment activities meet client, company and awarding organisation standards and specifications
  • Complete and return post training paperwork and digital outputs accurately and within required timescales
  • Maintain accurate CPD records and keep professional development up to date

What we are looking for

  • Strong experience working in the field for Gas or Water, or Drainage Utility sector – 3 years’ experience
  • the above OR Experience of delivering training, coaching, assessing
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to client sites 25% of the rime
  • Willingness to undertake weekend working when required
