At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Automotive Learning Coach to join their expanding team based in Manchester. This is a full time permanent Learning Coach role with hybrid working, giving you the opportunity to support and inspire apprentices as they progress through their Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician and Bus and Coach Engineering Technician qualifications. As an Automotive Learning Coach, you will play a key role in guiding learners through their apprenticeship journey, helping them achieve their qualifications and build long term careers within the automotive and engineering sector.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver high quality coaching and training sessions face to face in the classroom and online
  • Support learners throughout their apprenticeship, ensuring milestones and targets are achieved on time
  • Manage a caseload of up to 40 learners, monitoring progress and achievement
  • Provide constructive feedback that builds confidence and supports learner development
  • Produce accurate reports and learner documentation
  • Inspire and motivate learners to complete their qualifications successfully
  • Support learners working within manufacturing, maintenance, trailers and wider engineering environments

What we are looking for:

  • Strong automotive industry experience, ideally within heavy vehicle, bus, coach or commercial vehicle sectors
  • Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, manufacturing, trailers and engineering processes
  • Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring or training others
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and learner caseload effectively
  • Passion for helping others succeed and develop their careers

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within education, training or teaching
  • Assessor or teaching qualification
