At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Accountancy Trainer to join their expanding team based in the East Midlands. This is a predominantly office‑based Accountancy Trainer role delivering AAT Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications alongside Level 7 ACCA, CIMA, and equivalent professional accountancy programmes. No previous teaching experience is required as full support and development will be provided. You will play a key role in delivering engaging learning experiences and helping learners achieve their qualifications and career goals.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver engaging training sessions for AAT Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications and Level 7 ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accountancy programmes both in person and online.
- Support learners throughout their learning journey, helping them achieve successful completion of their qualifications.
- Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback to support development and achievement.
- Adapt learning materials and delivery methods to meet individual learner needs and overcome barriers to learning.
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement using the e portfolio system.
- Manage your own diary effectively to ensure high quality delivery and learner support.
- Motivate, guide, and encourage learners to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain up to date professional knowledge within the accountancy sector through continuous professional development.
What we are looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Level 7 professional accountancy qualification.
- Recent industry experience within an accountancy or finance environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and support learners from a variety of backgrounds.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create engaging learning resources and training materials.
- Genuine passion for supporting, developing, and motivating others.
Desirable:
- Teaching, training, or coaching experience.
- Experience working within apprenticeships or the education sector.
- Relevant teaching, training, or assessing qualification.
