You will lead mechanical design activities from concept through to manufacture, testing and commissioning, working alongside project managers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of challenging engineering projects.
Key Requirements
- Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience within the water, energy, utilities, process or infrastructure sectors
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar 3D CAD software)
- Strong knowledge of BS 8888 technical drawing standards
- Experience producing engineering calculations, technical documentation and design risk assessments
- Understanding of pressure vessels, pipework, structural steelwork and CE/UKCA compliance
- FEA and Mathcad experience desirable
