This vacancy is a newly created role that will report into the finance manager who intern reports into the CFO and will be office based full time. This will be the 4th successive placement that Able Bridge Recruitment have made within the organisation and the feedback from those placed has been incredible.
The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide accounting support to the finance manager who in turn will be taking more responsibility with the team as the CFO embarks on an ambitious growth phase in the company.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Reconciliation of supplier accounts for multiple entities
Upload missing purchase invoices to the accounting system to main supplier accounts
Request VAT invoices for all payments on account
Process purchase ledger transactions and request VAT receipts
Process credit card transactions
Upload purchase invoices to external accountant’s Onedrive for European entity
Consult with bookkeeper in Germany to resolve queries
Send monthly supplier statements
Process bank transactions on bank feeds for UK entities
Process bank transactions for a European entity
The Requirements
We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant who has a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience gained within the UK. Candidates will be office based 5 days per week so candidates will need to be able to travel to Glenrothes daily. The role will be working within a busy and thriving environment so applicants will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to multi-task and act on their own initiative. Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
