Able Bridge Recruitment are exclusively working with a business in the Perthshire area in the recruitment of a management accountant. This is an exciting and unusual opportunity for part qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) candidates.

The company is a specialist services provider to an international niche market space where there is little or no direct competition within the UK. The business has grown since its inception and is now at a point where deep routed plans are in place to take the business to the next level.
The role holder will report into the managing director and will be solely responsible for the accounting function. As the company grows, this position will do as well and could ultimately result in a director of finance role.
The Responsibilities:
- Provide robust financial information to the management team for commercial decision making.
- Ensure that all aspects of the finance function are completed from payables, receivables, payroll to month end reporting, management accounts preparation and cash flow forecasting.
- Full control and ownership of the general ledger, ensuring that invoices are processed and paid within agreed supplier terms.
- Ownership of the monthly payroll ensuring that all relevant documentation is processed and employees are paid on time.
- Lead the financial planning within the business.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts/management reports.
- Work closely with the managing director in the financial planning around specific growth plans/provide commercial decision support.
- Management of budgets, costs and general cash flow.
The Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and proactive accountant who will be either CIMA or ACCA qualified or part qualified.
- Candidates will need to drive and have access to a vehicle.
- Showcase financial controls competencies.
- Prior experience with Xero ERP software would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel reporting skills are also beneficial.
