This role is for a Mandarin-speaking China Digital Marketing Specialist with strong agency experience and experienced in delivering measurable results across Chinese digital platforms. You will be working with high-end international luxury property, hospitality and destination brands, leading China-focused digital campaigns from strategy through to execution. The position combines hands-on campaign delivery, client communication, content localisation and performance improvement. DUTIES
- Strategy & Campaign Development: Develop data-driven digital marketing strategies targeting Chinese audiences. Plan and improve multi-channel campaigns across key Chinese platforms including WeChat, Video Channel, RedNote and Baidu. Ensure all campaigns comply with relevant advertising regulations and platform policies.
- Social Media & Account Management: Manage social campaigns end-to-end as brand account lead. Oversee content calendars, publishing schedules, community engagement and audience growth. Drive measurable commercial results including qualified lead generation and sales enquiries.
- Content & Localisation: Create and localise content tailored to Chinese audiences while maintaining international brand tone and positioning. Collaborate closely with designers and copywriters to ensure high-quality output across all digital touchpoints.
- Paid Advertising & Performance Optimisation: Manage paid media campaigns across WeChat, RedNote, Baidu and other relevant platforms. Monitor ROI, improve performance and adjust targeting strategies to maximise campaign effectiveness. Track and analyse campaign data using digital marketing and analytics tools, producing clear performance reports and recommendations.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Lead day-to-day client communication. Build strong relationships, manage expectations and ensure high-quality delivery within deadlines. Provide strategic insights and proactive recommendations to improve campaign performance.
- Influencer & Partnership Management: Identify and manage KOL/influencer partnerships. Conduct outreach, briefing and performance tracking to drive enquiries and bookings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Work Experience: 3-8 years' agency or relevant experience in a busy client-facing environment. Strong hands-on experience managing WeChat Official Accounts, Video Channel and RedNote campaigns. Proven experience delivering measurable growth (engagement, enquiries, conversions). Experience within luxury property, hospitality or way of life sectors highly desirable.
- Skills: Solid understanding of content and advertising restrictions for property and hospitality sectors in China. Strong knowledge of Chinese digital ecosystem and paid media platforms. Proficiency in analytics and performance tracking tools. Commercial mindset with ability to link campaign performance to business outcomes.
- General Competencies: Communication: Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to manage international clients confidently. Autonomy: Comfortable working independently and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills in cross-cultural environments. Organisation: High attention to detail with strong deadline management. Languages: Fluent Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
