My client is strengthening its UK OEM operations and is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support vehicle flow, delivery coordination and registration activity across the national dealer network. Key Responsibilities
- Support the UK dealer network with enquiries relating to vehicle delivery timing and registration status
- Liaise with vehicle logistics and transport partners to support inbound processing and outbound deliveries
- Assist regional sales and fleet teams with vehicle status updates and logistics reporting
- Coordinate information between logistics, sales and internal manufacturer departments
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with dealers and external service providers
- Help document and review logistics and delivery processes to support consistency and improvement
- Provide wider operational support across logistics, sales support and national operations as required
What We’re Looking For
- Early career experience within automotive, construction, heavy machinery or a related operational environment
- Strong written and spoken English
- Interest in logistics, supply chain or dealer-facing operations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational setting
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience or exposure to vehicle, equipment or asset logistics is desirable but not essential
- Experience working with Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) highly desirable
