My client, a fast-growing automotive brand entering an exciting phase of expansion in the UK, is looking for a Dealer Training Specialist to help elevate sales capability and customer experience across their retailer network. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being out in the field, shaping people's skills, and turning training into real performance results.
As part of a growing UK presence, you'll play a key part in supporting retailers with structured training, hands-on coaching, and impactful learning content. You'll work closely with the Retailer Training Manager and Regional Sales Managers to ensure every retailer, new or established, has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to deliver an outstanding customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design and delivery of a full new starter training programme, including on-site induction for new and existing dealers.
- Run both in-person and virtual classroom training as part of the sales accreditation pathway.
- Deliver engaging training sessions during new product launch events.
- Create and refine training content with the Retailer Training Manager, including e-learning modules and classroom materials.
- Provide focused, on-site coaching to key retailers on sales processes, customer experience, and mystery shop performance.
- Deliver bespoke, ad-hoc sessions to support new business priorities, such as app rollouts or new sales tools.
- Work with regional teams to identify underperforming retailers and design targeted training interventions.
- Support wider training initiatives and special projects as the brand continues to grow.
- Solid experience in sales training within the automotive industry (OEM or retail).
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, sales processes, and CSI metrics.
- Confident presenter with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Comfortable travelling across the UK (around 3-4 days per week in the field).
- Able to work independently while staying closely aligned with a wider training and field team.
- Good understanding of digital learning tools and content creation platforms (LMS, Articulate, MS Office, etc.).
- Full UK driving licence required.
