Responsibilities
- Transportation Management: Execute transportation activities according to customer service requirements, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Process Standardisation: Develop and standardise internal logistics processes and methodologies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support all logistics staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Pricing and Cost Management: Provide accurate pricing for spot quote business and actively identify opportunities to reduce transport costs and improve margins.
- Problem Solving: Utilize problem-solving tools to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Customer Service: Deliver world-class customer service and take full ownership of assigned customers.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track loads through to delivery, providing customer updates when necessary.
