We\’re looking for a talented German-speaking Translation & Transcreation Specialist to join one of the world\’s leading international retail brands, known for its unbeatable prices, and fast-moving European presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a linguist who thrives on variety and enjoys being part of a collaborative European team. Title: Native Standard German Translation & Transcreation Specialist Location: Remote Pay: £20 – £25 per hour Contract: Full-time contract, 37.5 hours per week ASAP start until the end of January 2026 About the Role You will play a key role in shaping how this global retailer communicates with customers and colleagues across Europe. You\’ll translate and adapt a wide range of materials, from retail operations and training content to internal communications and brand messaging, ensuring everything feels natural, accurate and culturally spot-on. What You\’ll Be Doing Translating and transcreating English content into German, ensuring clarity, consistency, and the right tone of voice. Maintaining brand glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases to ensure every message feels authentic and on-brand. Acting as the go-to language expert for the business, advising on linguistic nuances, cultural context, and communication improvements.What We\’re Looking For Fluency in German (native level) and strong English communication skills (spoken and written). Proven experience in translation or transcreation. Excellent attention to detail with a love of language and culture.
