About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Garment Technologist to join our global fashion team on a maternity cover contract. This is a specialist role focused on menswear apparel and men's/women's activewear, where you will lead fit sessions, ensure product quality, and collaborate closely with design and product teams. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the fit and performance of our apparel, working across international teams and liaising with vendors to deliver products that meet the highest standards of comfort, movement, and durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fit sessions across menswear and activewear categories, making critical decisions on approvals and concessions.
- Partner with design and product teams to ensure consistency in fit, construction, and performance requirements.
- Analyse customer return data and feedback to identify fit/quality issues and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors on fit samples, process improvements, and systems-based projects.
- Apply grading expertise to maintain accurate global fit across size ranges.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in garment construction, fit, and quality.
- Strong knowledge of grading and sizing for global fit.
- Skilled in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading fit sessions and vendor discussions.
- Pattern knowledge is a plus.
