Job Purpose

The post holder’s main duties will be to provide administration support for our smoking cessation services. The post holder will be responsible for a range of administration, ensuring the smooth running of the office and the administration of the programmes to meet targets and deadlines set internally by ABL.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative support across a number of Stop Smoking Services, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office environment.
  • Responsibilities will include handling incoming calls and referrals, booking client appointments, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, and providing professional support to clients while identifying their individual needs.
  • The role will involve working closely with Project Leads and Managers to prepare reports and documents, supporting venue sourcing in line with service demand and budgets, and ensuring accurate data entry across service databases and IT systems.
  • Additional duties will include monitoring workloads and service targets, taking and distributing meeting minutes, managing general administrative tasks such as filing and record keeping, and welcoming clients into the reception area.
  • The postholder will be expected to work collaboratively within the wider administration team, demonstrate flexibility to support service needs, and maintain a professional and efficient approach at all times.
