Hours: 37.5 hours across a 7 day working week. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Location: Delivery across North West, Office based in Bolton.

About the Role

You’ll be part of an experienced and supportive team delivering personalised, one‑to‑one support to children and young people across a variety of settings: at home, in schools, and within the community. Our clients may be experiencing a range of needs, including suspected or diagnosed neurodiversity, mental health challenges, trauma, and behaviours considered complex or high‑risk.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will build trusting relationships with children, young people, and their families, delivering structured support plans tailored to each individual’s needs. You will work closely with clinicians and support colleagues to ensure a joined‑up, consistent approach, contributing to assessments and interventions under the guidance of our Clinical Lead. You will promote positive behaviour, emotional resilience, and personal development in young people, while maintaining accurate and professional records using digital tools and systems. This is a varied and rewarding position, ideal for someone confident working independently while also valuing team collaboration.

Essential skills and qualities:

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional or complex needs
  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
  • A calm, solution‑focused approach to challenging situations
  • An understanding of safeguarding
  • Confidence in using IT systems and digital tools
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the region
