This organisation is a global player, and the Credit Risk team is growing and looking for someone who will support this growth. You will need to have relevant Credit risk experience and have worked with corporate clients and have the ability to produce risk analysis reports. Job Title BANKING Credit Analyst Location City of London Work style: 100% office based Sector : Banking and financial services Contract : 6-12 Month Salary 200/day Summary of role 1) Support the Corporate Banking team in achieving departmental goals by providing comprehensive credit application assistance and efficient business-focused administrative support. 2) Collaborate with multiple internal departments to coordinate business management activities, data collection, portfolio monitoring, and policy updates. Key Responsibilities: * Act as a key credit partner to Corporate Banking, providing end to end support for credit applications and business focused administrative tasks. * Work with the Team Head of Credit Analysis and Head of Department to produce high quality management information and portfolio analysis, including monthly and quarterly reports. * Coordinate data collection, business reporting, and communication with Head Office and relevant corporate banking departments. * Monitor the Bank\'s credit portfolio to identify changes in credit quality due to counterparty or market related developments, and recommend suitable actions. * Maintain awareness of international market trends, with a focus on UK and global credit conditions. * Assist in establishing and maintaining credit risk management systems, controls, and procedures in compliance with internal, regulatory, and audit standards. * Ensure adherence to approved credit limits and promptly report any material excesses to the Head of Corporate Banking. Requirement: * Minimum 3 years\' relevant experience in corporate, commercial, or investment banking. * Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and persistence in following up on key matters. * Experience working with large corporate clients is desirable. * Generalist corporate sector experience preferred no niche specialism required. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. * Strong understanding of banking products from a credit risk perspective, including overdrafts, syndicated loans, term loans, guarantees, and letters of credit. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Fluency in English required; Mandarin language skills would be an advantage
