Job Description
This is a fabulous opportunity for a fluent MANDARIN speaker who has a background in CREDIT RISK gained in corporate banking. It’s an ideal role for someone who has been steadily building up knowledge and expertise in this area and is now looking to take the next step of their career whilst also leveraging language skills. The team you will join is close knit and very high performing and this role is regarded as a key appointment.

Summary details You will join the high performing Credit Risk team of this global organisation that works with corporate clients providing risk analysis on syndicated or bilateral loans and checks for regulatory compliance. Their Chinese business is growing rapidly, and the organisation now needs a fluent Chinese speaker to join this fast-growth team, but friendly , team
Duties :
- Analyse : Undertake “deep dive” risk assessments for corporate clients and financial institutions
- Reporting : ensure that credit risk exposure is accurately monitored daily, and reported .
- Stress-test the risks: Constantly measure, re-assess and check the risk exposure of the entire portfolio
- Check for when credit limit breaches are reported and recommend actions
- Help to structure potential transactions to mitigate risk
- Compliance: Ensure UK regulatory compliance
- Make sure that appropriate credit risk management controls, systems, policies and procedures are robust and in place
- Manage credit risk documentation ( eg Credit proposals, ensure tax risk policy is in place)
- Have full documentary compliance oversight
- Review/check/Stay ahead :monitor the economic news and market information
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree
- At least 4 years credit risk experience in wholesales, or large corporate.
- Solid compliance background & knowledge of the UK banking regulatory framework
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking is plus
