This is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in structured finance, project finance, and large-scale corporate lending, with exposure to UK and European markets. Our client, an international bank with a strong presence in London, is looking to hire an Assistant Structured Finance Analyst to join its Corporate Banking team. You will support the Structured Finance and Corporate Banking team across a range of transactions, including infrastructure financing, project finance, syndicated and bilateral loans, and cross-border corporate transactions. This role offers hands-on experience across credit analysis, deal execution support, and portfolio management, working closely with Relationship Managers and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers with credit applications, annual reviews, and rating processes
  • Prepare and translate credit materials (English ↔ Chinese) for internal and Head Office submissions
  • Assist with KYC and client onboarding processes
  • Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and credit assessment support
  • Support preparation of pitch materials and client presentations
  • Participate in post-loan monitoring and portfolio management activities
  • Assist on large syndicated and bilateral loan transactions
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as required by the team

Requirement

  • Fluent Mandarin and English (written and spoken) – essential
  • Around 3+ years’ experience in Corporate / Commercial / Investment Banking, or Financial Services with exposure to lending / credit / RM support
  • Experience in credit analysis, loan processing, or RM support is advantageous
  • Degree educated (Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines preferred)
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA / CFA) are a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
