This is an exciting opportunity to join their UK Customs & Trade function as a Supply Chain Analyst, supporting daily customs operations, regulatory compliance, and end‑to‑end shipment visibility across air, ocean, rail, and road.

The Role

As a Supply Chain Analyst within the Customs & Trade team, you will play a key role in ensuring shipments clear UK borders efficiently and compliantly. You’ll act as a named declarant for customs entries, manage interactions with HMRC, and support both internal teams and external partners with accurate documentation and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit and sign off customs entries to HMRC/CDS as a named declarant
  • Handle HMRC queries, post‑clearance requests, and attend port inspections when required
  • Manage government holds, exams, and regulatory interventions (e.g., Trading Standards)
  • Communicate with sellers, vendors, 3P brokers, and internal operations teams
  • Prepare and validate documentation for customs clearance
  • Track shipment status and escalate issues to maintain operational continuity

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience in customs brokerage within the UK market
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
