This is a rare opportunity for a TAX MANAGER to take ownership of the entire UK tax function for one of the AUTOMOTIVE industry's fastest-growing brands. Working at the centre of a rapidly expanding vehicle importer and retailer, you will become the trusted tax expert for the UK business, influencing tax strategy, customs compliance, corporate taxation and commercial decision-making whilst working directly with senior leadership and HMRC.

The role in a nutshell: You will be responsible for overseeing all tax matters for this UK automotive company ensuring the company remains fully compliant with HMRC requirements while identifying opportunities to improve tax efficiency. In this position you will manage Corporation Tax, VAT, payroll taxes, import and export duties, customs compliance and tax reporting, acting as the main point of contact with HMRC and supporting the wider finance team with audits, reporting and year-end activities whilst protecting the business from risk and unnecessary cost. This role is unusual because you will own the entire UK tax agenda!
