An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Buyer to join a fast-paced and innovative organisation supporting complex operations across the European region.
This role is ideal for a supply chain professional who enjoys supplier management, procurement operations, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
You will play a critical role in ensuring material availability, managing supplier performance, and mitigating supply chain risks to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively address delivery or capacity concerns.
- Act as an escalation point for material shortages, supply risks, and delivery issues.
- Collaborate with planning, operations, and supply chain stakeholders to maintain continuity of supply.
- Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Drive process improvements and implement tools to optimise procurement and operational efficiency.
- Communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans effectively to stakeholders.
- Support supplier relationships across the European supplier base, including manufacturing and assembly partners.
- Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Materials Management.
- Strong understanding of supplier management and purchase order processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience identifying and resolving supply chain risks.
- Preferred
- Degree or background in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with manufacturing, contract manufacturing, engineering, or assembly suppliers.
- Project management experience and continuous improvement mindset.
