We are looking for an Automotive TECHNICAL TRAINING SPECIALIST The role combines engineering expertise with teaching, strategy, project management and leadership.
Rather than spending every day repairing vehicles, the successful candidate will improve the capability of hundreds of technicians across an entire dealer network.

TITLE: AUTOMOTIVE Technical Training Specialist Salary : £55,000+ 15% bonus and cars Location : Remote.
This is a field based role in which you will go to dealerships and also deliver in person training at specialist Training Centres located in Nottingham and Bedford Company : fast growth passenger vehicle brand The role : What makes this role really interesting is that this is not simply a role in which you will stand in front of technicians teaching diagnostics.
It is a role designed for someone who is effectively responsible for building the technical capability of an entire UK dealer network as the brand grows.
Every dealership needs technicians who can correctly diagnose faults repair new electric and hybrid vehicles, understands the latest technology, represents the brand professionally etc .
In this role you will be supporting new dealerships that are opening across the UK and you will become the “ guardian of technical standards ” across the UK.
This role will give you enormous visibility inside the business.
DUTIES : For the right person, this role offers a great deal of variety and offers the chance to create a new learning culture and new materials rather than having to rely on maintaining existing programmes.
As a successful Technical Training Specialist could realistically progress to National Technical Training Manager or even Head of Technical Training.
You will be responsible for making sure all technicians are trained to exactly the same standard.
This will include : Designing the UK's entire technical training programme Delivering courses Visiting dealerships Creating a complete learning pathway.
You will become the "face" of technical knowledge and will know/develop rapport with every dealer technician in the country Support new vehicle launches Work alongside Technical Support to help identify recurring problems
