Motion Designer
Location: Swansea, UK (Hybrid – 3 days per week, Mon – Wed)
Contract: 2 years
Pay Rate: £36.57 – £40.63 per hour
Hours: 24 per week (part-time)
We’re looking for a Motion Designer to join a global technology business at the forefront of e-commerce innovation. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re passionate about creative storytelling, have a keen eye for detail, and want to work on high-profile projects with real impact.
A really fabulous part time hybrid role, giving you the opportunity to be responsible for producing compelling animations and video assets that simplify complex product features, making them engaging and easy to understand.
This role sits within their in-house design team, a highly creative group that plays a pivotal role in bringing products and campaigns to life. You’ll be working at the intersection of product, marketing, and design, shaping how sellers experience the brand through animation and motion content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality motion graphics, product walkthroughs, and UI animations aligned with brand guidelines.
- Translate technical or complex features into clear, visually engaging content for marketing and product education.
- Collaborate with senior designers to storyboard concepts and deliver polished final outputs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and standards are consistently high.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and maintain excellent communication throughout projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in motion design with a portfolio demonstrating product/UI animations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to respond to feedback constructively.
- Proficiency in relevant design tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
