The role in a nutshell: You will be responsible for helping the company sell the right number of cars, at the right profit, through the right promotions.

Duties:

  • Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Planning, Logistics and the dealer network, you will act as the commercial link between all departments, ensuring dealers have the right products, pricing, incentives and stock in place to achieve sales targets and continue growing market share.
  • This is a commercial strategy and business planning role.
  • You will analyse sales performance and look at which models will sell best.
  • Check the success of various promotions.
  • Monitor competitors.
  • Forecast future demand and decide on how many cars should be ordered from the factory.
  • Plan vehicle stock levels.
  • Develop sales campaigns.
  • Support new model launches.
  • Consider whether to increase dealer bonuses to help increase sales.
  • Finance offers that attract customers while protecting profitability.

Requirements:

  • OEM Automotive Experience
  • Commercial Planning Experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, lookups, forecasting models and reporting)
  • Automotive Market Knowledge
  • Forecasting skills
  • Motability Experience
