Do you have a MARKETING background gained within automotive? This is a genuinely interesting and varied role in which you could be working on a national advertising campaign on Monday, reviewing creative with an agency on Tuesday, developing a sports or talent partnership on Wednesday, helping with a car launch or event on Thursday and analysing the campaign results on Friday. Fabulous role with lots of growth potential!

This role is a genuinely fun marketing role, and quite different from a conventional automotive marketing job. What makes it particularly interesting is that you will not simply be maintaining an established brand. This particular passenger car brand is relatively new and is growing rapidly, and the role is about helping shape how the brand looks, sounds and behaves in the UK market. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, be creative and make an immediate impact.

Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, you will support across the full marketing mix and funnel, ensuring consistency of messaging, tone of voice and creative execution across all touchpoints. This role is VARIED: One week could involve working with the creative agency on a national advertising campaign; another could involve a new-car launch, social/digital content, an event, retailer activation or a sports/talent partnership. The remit covers ATL, digital, social, CRM, retail and experiential marketing rather than one narrow marketing channel.

Duties:

  • Work on brand collaborations, ambassadors, talent partnerships and sports sponsorships, including events and experiential activations.
  • Meet with the Senior Brand Manager and marketing team to review what's coming up — perhaps a new vehicle launch or national brand campaign.
  • Check campaign timelines, budgets, creative assets and messaging.
  • Review new creative work from the agency — advertising, video, social content, imagery, campaign copy etc.
  • Work on a sports sponsorship, ambassador/talent relationship or brand collaboration.
  • Prepare or deliver a vehicle launch, event, partnership activation or retailer marketing event — coordinating agencies, suppliers, content and stakeholders.
  • Analyse the campaign results.
  • Create presentations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Experience within automotive (either in an OEM or working in an agency with OEM clients) is essential.
  • 3 years experience in marketing.
