Do you speak fluent Korean and do you have a fashion, retail or FMCG background? If so this role is a rare gem. You will be managing a high performing finance team of 3-5 people and will have total responsibility for all the reporting. This is a small specialist company, highly profitable, with a focus on all things K-Beauty and fashion related. In this role you will have genuine autonomy to make your mark. The team is great, the products the business sells are world class, and the career opportunities are outstanding. This role has genuine career opportunities and it is envisaged that the role will expand to also oversee other teams within the organisation.
This is a wonderful role for an ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with fluent Korean to take on a key role within a fashion related business. This organisation is at the forefront of bringing K-beauty products into the UK market and you will have full ownership of the financial control and all the reporting. The job will allow you genuine autonomy as well as involve team management (the team of 3-4 people is very friendly and great to work with; they are all energetic and committed and you will mentor and coach them in a nice collaborative work environment).
Duties:- Use of fluent Korean on a daily basis.
- Manage a team of 3–5 finance professionals.
- Oversee and optimise stock management, ensuring efficiency and profitability in retail operations.
- Help to drive digital transformation and improved reporting capabilities.
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Fluent Korean & English.
- ACCA full qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven track record as a CFO, Financial Controller, Accountant or senior finance leader.
- Experience managing and mentoring a finance team.
- Ideally a background in fashion, retail or consumer goods, with hands-on knowledge of stock management.
