We’re looking for an Import Specialist to join a high‑volume, fast‑moving supply chain team supporting EU/UK operations during a peak period. This is a great opportunity to step into a global organisation where accuracy, pace, and problem‑solving genuinely make an impact. You’ll be part of a collaborative operations team that manages complex international shipments, works closely with logistics partners, and ensures goods move smoothly across borders. If you enjoy working in a structured environment with clear processes, but also love stepping in to fix issues when things don’t go to plan, this role will suit you perfectly.

Duration: 6‑month contract

Daily pay rate: £280 per day

Location: 5 days per week on‑site in London

Start date: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reviewing commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documents to ensure everything is compliant and correct
  • Tracking inbound shipments across EU/UK lanes and resolving delays or documentation issues
  • Supporting data reporting and shipment visibility to keep the wider team informed
  • Escalating discrepancies, compliance concerns or operational risks
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects that streamline import operations

This is a hands‑on operational role where you’ll be the person who spots issues early, solves problems quickly, and keeps the supply chain moving.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with EU/UK import processes and documentation
  • Background in trade compliance or customs‑related work
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
  • Confidence working with Excel and SQL to analyse data and build reports
  • A detail‑driven, analytical mindset
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or similar
