This role is based in Harlow in Essex and the company is a global food and ingredients business. You will be given full training in this position and there are opportunities to grow in the role and in the business. The team is small and friendly too! This is a nice role, with genuine opportunities to move on within the business once you have learned the ropes. It also helps if you love food and cooking.

Job Summary:

You will be working in the shipping team which looks after delivery of goods to supermarket and restaurant clients all over the world. In this role you will do the order processing, chase up deliveries with the warehouse, deal with customer issues over the phone and via email and generally give a first-class customer service to customers who have purchased cooking ingredients. The role is fast-paced and rewarding and you will be given full training.

Duties:

  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels to support stock availability and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Produce Excel-based reports covering shipments, deliveries, stock movements and customer orders.
  • Identify supply chain trends, delays and inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Use SAP and Excel to support demand planning and inventory management activities.
  • Track supplier and warehouse performance against delivery targets and KPIs.
  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
  • Coordinate shipments, transportation and delivery schedules with warehouses and logistics providers.
  • Provide customers with updates regarding deliveries, order status and shipment progress.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel
  • Good SAP
  • Some previous admin experience (ideally supply chain)
