Supply Chain Analyst Location: London Area (On-site, 5 days per week) Contract Length: Initial 4-month contract Pay Rate: Β£296 per day Hours: 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity We are seeking a proactive and ownership-driven Supply Chain Analyst to join a fast-paced supply chain operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional who enjoys taking end-to-end ownership of processes, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement across inventory, supplier management, and warehouse operations. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supplier compliance, and operational efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Control Own end-to-end inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and root cause analysis of discrepancies. Monitor inventory health metrics and proactively identify and escalate risks. Investigate inventory issues and implement corrective and preventative actions. Supplier Compliance & Vendor Management Monitor supplier performance against service levels, lead times, and quality standards. Maintain supplier scorecards and support regular supplier performance reviews. Assist with supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and operational processes. Operational Support & Issue Resolution Manage receiving and shipping exceptions, ensuring timely resolution. Act as a key point of contact for operational disruptions across inbound, outbound, and returns processes. Analyse operational performance and support the development and enhancement of KPIs and SLAs. Drive process improvements and implement sustainable solutions to recurring challenges Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with internal stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and procurement functions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. Take ownership of initiatives from identification through to implementation and measurable results. Required Experience ~4 to 5 years' experience within logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar environment. ~ Experience managing inventory processes including cycle counts, stock adjustments, reconciliation, and ageing analysis. ~ Background in supplier management, SLA monitoring, and compliance activities. ~ Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. ~ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ~ Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver operational improvements. ~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ~ Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes. Desirable Skills & Experience Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Familiarity with project management tools and agile working practices. Experience within e-commerce, fulfilment, or high-growth operational environments.
