organisation in Milton Keynes, taking ownership of a broad HR
function and working closely with senior leadership.
This is a hands-on opportunity covering everything from employee
relations and recruitment to performance, development, and
wellbeing, with plenty of scope to improve processes and shape
the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities for a HR Manager
* Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and
employees across a broad range of people matters.
* Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary,
grievance, capability, absence, and performance matters.
* Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, processes, and
procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals, and
ongoing employee development.
* Work closely with senior leadership on workforce planning,
organisational development, employee engagement, and business
improvement initiatives.
* Support the effective management and compliance of company-wide
operational responsibilities alongside the HR function.
* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee
experience, and organisational effectiveness.
Key Skills for a HR Manager
* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience
* Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law
