You will deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, supporting them to improve their emotional health and build resilience. This will include face-to-face individual sessions, group work and peer support. Face-to-face duties will take place across Nottingham City, Rushcliffe and Gedling. Applicants must be able to travel to and work in all three areas; this is an essential requirement of the role., The successful candidate will work as part of a diverse clinical team, delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people across education settings and community venues. Responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments, safety planning and ongoing counselling, as well as developing and facilitating group and peer support interventions. You will provide information, advice and guidance through the single point of access, maintain accurate and confidential case records, and build effective links with local services to support signposting and onward referrals. The role will also involve proactively managing risk, responding appropriately to safeguarding and child protection concerns, and ensuring young people feel listened to, respected and involved in decisions about their support. You will work independently, including occasional lone working, while contributing to the ongoing development, co-production and innovation of the service.
