The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Role Purpose: The Healthy Lifestyle Advisor Lead works closely with the management team to support service operations. The role requires leadership qualities and accountability for service outcomes, including delivery to cover team absence and promote growth. You will join a multidisciplinary team including GPs, therapists, nutritionists, and administrators.

You will support management, contribute to MDT meetings, supervise service delivery, lead clinics, and support group education. Development of resources and staff training is also included. Interventions may occur via telephone, digital platforms, or face-to-face venues across the footprint, supported by the Obesity lead, service manager, and MDT.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Managerial

  • Assist the Operation Team Leads/Specialist Leads in daily project management.
  • Be a point of contact for delivery staff queries.
  • Coordinate staff to facilitate project delivery, oversee staff calendars, liaise with admin, and organize session cover.
  • Develop project areas per the project plan.
  • Track and achieve service KPIs.
  • Conduct service observations and provide performance feedback.
  • Support staff management through 1:1s and PDPs.
  • Monitor stakeholder activity, track performance, and set targets for improvement.
  • Prepare data and attend performance meetings.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate service engagement with system partners.
  • Manage patient flow and outcomes, and implement actions for non-progression.
  • Coordinate venue bookings, risk assessments, and venue use.
  • Support financial duties including expenses and invoices.
  • Ensure data quality and oversee audits.
  • Contribute to clinical governance and staff training.

Delivery

  • Deliver personalized, age-appropriate interventions and advice to children, young people, and families.
  • Prepare venues and materials for sessions.
  • Understand and confidently deliver curriculum resources.
  • Plan sessions, including materials and equipment.
  • Discuss weight management with clients.
  • Monitor weight and attendance, contact clients to ensure engagement.
  • Evaluate services and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Support team delivery of interventions within the IWS.
  • Engage and recruit clients at promotional events.
  • Cover sessions as needed.
