The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair components and systems such as motors, inverters, bearings, gears, clutches, couplings, etc.
- Completing preventive maintenance requirements on equipment
- Troubleshooting and inspecting programmable logic controllers, distributive control systems including control card replacement and wiring terminations
- Identify issues and determine root cause of malfunctioning equipment
- Perform basic welding and machinist tasks
- Respond to emergency requests for maintenance (after hours/weekends as needed)
- Monitors pre-treatment bath chemical composition and adjusts in conjunction with the Technical Director
- Completes maintenance records and maintains operating logbooks and databases as required
- Maintains control of plant tools, manuals, repair parts, assemblies, and consumables
- Research equipment manuals and requisition repair parts
- Identify and assist in sourcing/purchasing parts
Applicant must be a highly motivated individual willing to work flexible shifts depending on workload in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma, University Degree, or Skilled Trade Certificate
- Minimum High School Diploma combined with equivalent work experience and education
- Previous involvement in a similar role and/or industry with a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience
- Millwright or Electrician trade designation is an asset
- Welding experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Shift availability:
- Day shift – Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm on most days
- Candidate must be able to respond to emergency requests for maintenance (after hours/weekends as needed)
