We’re looking for an experienced VDA to join our new Bilston site. ABL was established in 1994 and has remained a leader in vehicle repair. We partner with insurance companies and pride ourselves on quality work and excellent customer service. We seek customer-focused individuals. We are looking for a motivated and professional Vehicle Damage Assessor who exceeds customer expectations and meets financial targets. The main responsibilities include: Producing accurate invoices and estimates to meet SLA Maintaining effective cost control aligned with budgets Providing exceptional customer service Facilitating efficient site operations Key Responsibilities : Ensuring profitable repair costing Producing timely, accurate invoices and estimates Controlling invoicing costs within budgets Supporting site operations and customer service Performing initial parts assessments (IPA) Ensuring repair methodology complies with BS10125 standards Following management directives Identifying non-compliance or profit loss cases and reporting Supporting repair quality and handling total loss cases as per SLA Ideal Candidate Traits : Experience in body and paint repair in retail accident and repair industry Technical and estimating experience ATA accreditation (if required) Knowledge of estimating systems (Audatex, Glassmatix) Familiarity with E-scribe, Glass’s evaluator, Ezi methods Audatex Gold training Team player with a can-do attitude Cultural and organizational awareness Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation Benefits : 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Celebration Day Car insurance discount with LV Employee Engagement Budget Mental Health First Aid access Cycle to Work Scheme Refer a Friend Scheme Company Events Join us at ABL1 Touch and be part of a dynamic organization that values growth and supports its employees.
