We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Roaming Panel Beater to join our team. This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual who enjoys variety, thrives in changing environments and is comfortable with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
As a key member of the Roaming team you will ensure seamless continuity of our operations by filling in Panel Beater gaps across a number of sites. These sites will vary in size, volume and types of repairs.
We are looking for highly skilled Panel Beaters who are up to date with latest industry techniques and can carry out repairs to the highest possible standard, to cover various locations, including the North East & Midlands, South Coast & Surrey, Kent & Essex, Central & South regions.

Responsibilities of a Roaming Panel Beater will include:
- Strip & refit where necessary including adjustment and panel alignment.
- Report any defects or damage linked to associated job but not down for repair.
- Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on the job card.
- Removal and safe storage of vehicle components, fluids and gases following job card, methods and relevant safety requirements at all times.
- Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles not apparent before dismantling.
- Actively make sure the repair method is in the job pack and is read, understood (e-scribe, manufacturer or other source) and followed.
- Sign off the QC section of the Repair Inspection sheet at your and other operatives relevant repair stage.
- Carry out all Panel alignment, filler repairs, underseal, weld through primers, and ensure anti-corrosion measures are complete before next stage.
Skills and experience required as a Roaming Panel Beater:
- Previous experience in a Panel role
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Strong proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Recognised qualifications through City & Guilds, ATA Panel Beater, IMI 3 or NVQ 3
- High standards with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Experience in mig braze, spot welding, rivet and bonding, high strength and Boron steel awareness.
- Full UK Driving licence
- Welding and Bonding certifications advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with lots of personalities
- Team Player who uses initiative, is adaptable and a can-do attitude.
