As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you’ll play a key part in ensuring vehicles are costed accurately and efficiently, supporting smooth site operations and maintaining our reputation for high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor will include:
- Producing accurate estimates and invoices to meet repair timelines and partner SLAs
- Managing repair costs and ensuring profitability
- Supporting the site with assessments, total loss cases, and repair methodology reviews
- Ensuring all work complies with BS10125 standards
- Liaising with customers, insurers, and internal teams to deliver a seamless process
- Identifying and reporting any losses or issues that impact quality or margin
Skills and experience required as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Strong technical understanding of body & paint repair
- Proven experience in vehicle estimating
- Confident using Audatex, Glassmatix, and related systems
- Familiarity with E-scribe, Ezi Methods, and Glass's Evaluator
- Audatex Gold training or equivalent experience
- ATA accreditation (or willingness to achieve it)
- A team player with a can-do attitude and a solutions-focused approach
- Organised, methodical, and customer-service driven
