The Role – MET Technician:

We’re looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our talented team in Crayford. You’ll ensure all motor vehicle repairs meet the highest industry and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and report on vehicle structure and paintwork
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers
  • Safely remove, store, and dispose of components, fluids, and gases
  • Reassemble vehicles post‑repair with precision and quality checks
  • Perform 4‑wheel alignments as required
  • Complete quality control checks, final sign‑off, and ATA signatures
  • Report faults or defects discovered during repair
  • Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Follow correct repair methods and keep documentation up to date
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks and beam settings
  • Ensure mechanical work meets specifications, including torqueing safety‑critical bolts
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and workspace

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in body repair of motor vehicles
  • Auto electrical qualifications and hands‑on experience
  • Knowledge of computerised alignment systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong mechanical and suspension knowledge
  • Recognized Aircon and Encapsulated Glass training preferred
  • Team‑oriented attitude, flexibility, and a “can‑do” approach
  • Accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail
