Join our collaborative team at Abivale. We are looking for a qualified RVN to work 24-32 hours per week on a 12-month fixed-term contract, and we would consider someone newly qualified, to join our friendly and cohesive team. You will work closely with the rest of our clinical and support team in promoting high standards of client and patient care.
This role will primarily be based in Wallingford but shifts will need to be carried out in our other branches. We are a well-established, small animal practice in South Oxfordshire, practicing out of four surgeries in Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, and Wantage. This role is mainly based at our Wallingford and Abingdon sites.
We have a varied caseload, and the role includes:
- General nursing duties
- Anaesthesia
- Radiology
- Ultrasonography
- Hospital inpatient care as we are a 24-hour emergency care provider
The role is 24-32 hours per week over 3 or 4 days with 8 hour shifts, 1 in 5 weekends Saturday and Sunday with TOIL for weekends worked. There is no out-of-hours work as we have a dedicated night team who cover this.
