As part of the Abion team, you’ll collaborate with our international network of IP professionals, working on a diverse portfolio of cases and clients. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional legal services.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and assist in a variety of legal, trademark, and IP matters within your practice area. Senior Associates play a crucial role in providing legal advice, conducting research, drafting documents, and interacting with clients to contribute to the firm's success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, prospecting, and engaging with potential clients.
  • Drive revenue growth by bringing in own clients and effectively cross-selling and upselling products/services to existing clients.
  • Take a proactive role in managing cases, transactions, or matters, ensuring their efficient progression.
  • Build and maintain client relationships by understanding client needs, providing regular case updates, addressing concerns, and offering strategic legal advice.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, motions, briefs, agreements, applications, and transactional documents.
  • Record billable hours accurately and assist in preparing client invoices, if required.

  • Bar admission and at least 5 years of experience.
  • Track record of trademark law and IP law.
  • Proactive approach in participating in training, professional development opportunities, and ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Focus on finding efficiencies and better solutions through technology.
