Role Summary

For January 2026

The Head is seeking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic part time Learning Support Teacher with experience of providing learning support. The applicant will be responsible for working on a one to one or small group basis providing academic support to pupils with Special Educational Needs or specific learning difficulties. They will be responsible for identifying individual requirements and for creating a safe and supportive environment that enables pupils to succeed in their learning. In addition, the applicant should be willing to contribute to the wider life of a vibrant day prep school. This is a part time vacancy for 0.4 FTE (four mornings per week). A teaching qualification and a recognised qualification in SEN/learning support are essential.
