The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join a high-performing investigations and enforcement function. You will provide essential legal and casework support to lawyers and case managers, contributing to complex investigations and disciplinary processes. The role offers exposure to a broad range of regulatory and tribunal work, making it ideal for someone looking to deepen their experience within a structured and impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organise and quality assure large volumes of case documentation, including detailed evidence bundles
- Ensure documents are accurately indexed, categorised and compliant with legal and procedural requirements
- Apply legal principles, including rules of evidence and public law considerations, identifying and escalating risks where appropriate
- Maintain and update case management systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Support hearings and tribunal proceedings, including note‑taking and liaising with key stakeholders
- Draft clear and concise correspondence, case summaries and supporting documentation
- Assist with witness engagement, including supporting individuals who may require additional consideration
- Monitor case progression and proactively identify actions required to keep matters moving forward
- Contribute to the wider effectiveness of the team through flexible support and collaboration
Essential experience and skills
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience supporting legal casework, litigation or tribunal processes
- Ability to review, analyse and summarise complex documentation
- Experience preparing evidence bundles or similar structured materials
- Strong understanding of legal principles, including evidence and public law fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
