We are looking for two Electrical Lecturers to join our expanding team at the Oxford Construction Skills Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of professionals within the electrical industry. About the Role

As an Electrical Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and practical training to apprentices’ learners. You will support learners in developing the technical expertise, practical skills, and professional behaviours required to work safely and competently in industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions to apprentices in both classroom and workshop environments.
  • Support learners to develop key workplace behaviours such as punctuality, teamwork, and effective communication.
  • Carry out workplace training and assessments to monitor progress and ensure competence.
  • Create a positive, professional learning environment that reflects real-world industry standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality teaching provision and excellent learner outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Electrical Installation.
  • Significant industry experience within electrical installation.
  • Strong practical skills and up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for developing others and sharing expertise.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of electrical professionals.
  • Previous teaching or training experience.
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience working with fire alarm and security systems.
