The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a technician to join the Engineering team. As a technician, you will be responsible and accountable for the health and safety of workshops, inventory and supporting small groups of learners with practical skills and progress. You will be a proactive specialist with technical knowledge to join the existing team in this vocational area.

You will lead and manage the relevant workshop area and stock, as well as supporting the department with learner progress, experience and practical skills, leading to wider participation and excellent achievement in various vocational courses offered in the department. Knowledge of maintaining associated equipment within an engineering environment would be beneficial. Stock ordering/control of materials, tooling and machine equipment would be an advantage. Also, supporting the production of learners' work pieces to achieve the highest industry standards.

You will have proven experience of supporting in the industry or workshop environment and coaching or supporting others, ideally within FE, along with a relevant curriculum specialism.
