Digital skills are at the forefront of the world in which we live, digital poverty means that people are excluded from work opportunities in either getting a job or enhancing their career. This divide will only get worse as the speed of technology innovation increases through the use of AI.
Abingdon and Witney College has always been proud to be at the heart of the local community, providing top quality educational opportunities across the spectrum of learners. To enable us to continue this and work in an ever-expanding and fast-changing society, we are looking to appoint a specialist digital skills tutor to reach out across the diverse adult learning community.
Have you got the skills base to work with learners learning basic skills through to learners who are preparing to take on higher qualifications after Level 2? We are looking for someone who is capable in Microsoft and equivalent packages, including basic AI such as Co-Pilot, CAD, Gaming and basic coding, and basic cybersecurity.
Initially working as an Hourly Paid Lecturer, there is scope, in the future, to develop this role considerably for the right candidate working with our mainstream adult learners and bespoke clients.
