Digital skills are essential for everyday life, yet digital poverty continues to prevent many people from accessing work, education and progression. As technology and AI evolve, this gap will only increase, and we are committed to narrowing it.

Salary: £28.62 - £37.08 per hour

Hours per week: Various flexible working patterns

Working days: Weekdays with occasional evenings

Location: Various site (Oxfordshire)

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until September 2027

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality digital training sessions directly into the community.
  • Work with partners across the county to deliver engaging sessions in a variety of community settings.
  • Support adult learners from basic digital skills through to Level 2 and beyond, both in person and online.
  • Use Microsoft and equivalent software, basic AI tools such as Copilot, CAD, gaming, introductory coding and basic cybersecurity in teaching.
  • Motivate learners with a wide range of experience and confidence levels.

Qualifications:

  • Confidence using Microsoft and equivalent software.
  • Basic AI tools (e.g. Copilot).
  • Basic CAD and gaming.
  • Introductory coding and basic cybersecurity.
  • Strong learner support and motivation skills.

Training and Development:

All successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two‑week teacher induction, followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET), and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. There is also the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at a later stage.
