This is a great opportunity for someone from a Construction (Design, Surveying and Planning) background who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to make a real impact within a diverse and forward thinking college.
About the role
As we continue to grow our T-Level offer, we’re looking for a skilled lecturer to help shape and deliver our construction curriculum. You’ll be part of a dynamic team based in our new Green Construction building, with access to high-spec IT and modern learning spaces. This role would suit either an experienced lecturer or someone from industry looking to move into teaching. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in Modern Methods of Construction, Digital Construction and Construction Management.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.
- Work with colleagues, students and industry partners to keep the curriculum engaging and relevant.
- Contribute to the continued development of our T-Level provision.
Industry experience in Construction (Design, Surveying and Planning) or a related degree.
Experience/interest in digital construction methods such as UK BIM framework and Revit.
Has a genuine interest in supporting and developing learners.
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
Organised, approachable and able to work well as part of a team.
