Summary

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for Part Time Bar and Waiting Positions at The Cottage. Ideally, candidates will have previous experience in the hospitality sector and be flexible in their working hours as the roles available include Friday evenings, Saturday day and evening work, and Sunday lunches. (No one candidate will have to work all three weekend shifts). There is also the opportunity to pick up further shifts to cover busy periods and other team members' holidays and functions. This can include daytime shifts, weekday evening work, weekend, and bank holiday work.

These are permanent positions with an immediate start if required, and hours per week will vary. All candidates must be hard working and very smart in both their personal appearance and attitude toward customers. This is a position for someone who must enjoy customer service and the hospitality industry, and have a bright and outgoing personality. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age as you will be expected to serve alcohol from the bar.

There is also an option of taking formal hospitality qualifications if you wish after a qualifying period. It is recommended that the applicants have their own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently from customers.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas.
  • Support upselling initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
